Rapeh Initiation: A Sacred Journey

Experience the Ancient Ceremonial Use of Rapeh

At Chispa Wasi, we invite you to engage in the sacred preparation and ceremonial use of Rapeh, a powerful plant medicine traditionally used by indigenous tribes of the Amazon. This finely ground tobacco snuff, also known as "hapé," is more than just a medicine—it’s a spiritual tool used to clear the mind, balance energies, and connect with the higher self.

Learn from Tribal Elders
Our Rapeh ceremonies are guided by experienced indigenous elders, who have carried the traditions of their ancestors for generations. In these sessions, you’ll learn the ancient methods of preparing Rapeh, as well as the deep spiritual significance it holds in their communities. The ceremony is performed with respect and care, creating a space for healing, insight, and alignment with nature.

Ceremony and Connection
During the ceremony, Rapeh is blown into the nostrils using a special pipe, called a "tepi" or "kuripe," with the intention of grounding and clearing the recipient. This powerful practice is often used in conjunction with prayers, chanting, and meditation, helping participants connect with the earth, their inner wisdom, and the spiritual realm.

Whether you are new to Rapeh or seeking to deepen your understanding of this sacred medicine, these sessions offer a profound experience that goes beyond the physical and into the realms of the spiritual and emotional.

Group Bookings Available
Our Rapeh initiation sessions are available for group bookings, depending on the availability of our indigenous elders. Whether you’re planning a retreat or looking for a unique group experience, this ceremony provides an authentic and transformative journey into Amazonian traditions.

Join us at Chispa Wasi to explore the ancient art of Rapeh and its deep connection to Amazonian culture and healing.
