“Chispa Wasi hosts cultural workshops, ceremonies, kambo trainings, and initiations with the intention of weaving a bridge to native culture and local communities. The intention of their work is to empower and support indigenous people, the guardians of these sacred traditions and healing medicines. The knowledge of the healing powers of the plants are held within the indigenous people. Over the past year the center has hosted the Yawanawa, Huni Kuin, Shipibo, Shanenawa, Q’ero and North American Chiefs. The center has provided healing ceremonies to over 1,000 people in Pisac, Peru.”
