Hello, my name is Brandon aka The Mystic Pilgrim.

I would like to invite you to my Bon Voyage Cacao Ceremony and Amazonian Breathwork Community Circle! I’m heading back to Detroit on the 27th and feel honored to be able to offer this in the space of Chispa Wasi before I leave.

The intention of this evening is to gather together to realize this ever-present connection with Ourselves, Community, and Spirit. I will be providing Sacred Cacao in order to assist in opening our hearts, nourish our Bodies, and bring us into a higher state of Being. We will pray for the Cacao Spirit to touch us and move us and inspire and empower us. There are many ways to invoke, channel, and fuse Spirit Within which will be utilized, and with our clear and true healing intentions, I know our prayers will be answered.

We will begin with the consumption of Ceremonial Cacao. I will take some time while we are nourishing our physical bodies with this healing elixir to explain the Amazonian Breathwork practice. This particular breathwork practice is developed and shared in order to unite us in tribal awareness, to help release traumatic energies that may be trapped in the body, and to allow us to practice being with whatever arises. Afterwards we will sit for a short meditation and then have a sharing circle before we close for the evening.

First off... Welcome! I have found incredible value in my life from using Cacao and am very excited to share this plant medicine with you. If you haven't yet had the pleasure or haven't yet experienced these benefits firsthand, I am honored to introduce you.

Please send me a message if you haven't had cacao before so we can discuss any questions you may have.

Also, please message me if anyone considering attending is taking anti-depressants/anti-psychotics as these are generally contraindicated.

Eat a light lunch no later than 1pm. It’s good to have a mostly empty stomach for the cacao to work the best.

Please arrive and settle into the space by 3:45. We will start at 4pm. The official ceremony is roughly 3-3.5 hours and then the unofficial non-mandatory hangout/integration can continue a little while longer or until our host is ready for people to go.

Please wear comfortable non-restrictive clothing. If possible please bring bring a coffee mug to use for the evening The space does have blankets to sit on, but please bring something warm to cover up with for after the breathwork as we get into the evening. Feel free to bring what is needed to make your time here more comfortable for you!

Oh, and if you want to bring an item for the altar while you’re here, please!
And musical instruments if you feel called to bring any for afterwards.

Jeni Papo Initiation w/ Akuani Huni Kuin

Learn to Paint w/ Jeni Papo!

Jeni Papo is a semi- permanent black paint that is made from the fruit of the jenipapeiro tree.

During ceremonies or festivals the Huni Kuin paint geometric patterns on their bodies and faces.

These patterns are called kene and are the same patterns also used in art and jewlrey.

We will learn sacred kene (designs) of the Huni Kuin.

Akuani will share with us some of the history behind these designs.

We will first practice on paper and then on ourselves.

At the end of this workshop we will receive a special blessing to share this sacred ritual with others.

Contribution: 120 soles

Jeni Papo es una pintura negra semipermanente que se elabora a partir del fruto del árbol jenipapeiro.

Durante las ceremonias o festivales, los Huni Kuin pintan patrones geométricos en sus cuerpos y rostros.

Estos patrones se llaman kene y son los mismos patrones que también se utilizan en el arte y el jewlrey.

Aprenderemos los kene (diseños) sagrados del Huni Kuin.

Akuani compartirá con nosotros parte de la historia detrás de estos diseños.

Primero practicaremos en papel y luego en nosotros mismos.

Al finalizar este taller recibiremos una bendición especial para compartir este sagrado ritual con los demás.
